Our congregation strongly believes in 
supporting missions in our community, region and around the world.  


We are very excited to be a part of the 
Family Promise of Green County program.


Local missions we support with our gifts and service are:
          Green County Food Pantry
          Second Harvest Food Bank
          Homelessness Prevention Coalition of Green County
          Monroe Schools Kids Fund
Noah's Ark Preschool

The missions we have chosen to focus on for this year are: 
         UM Children's Services of Wisconsin
         Northcott Neighborhood House 
         UMCOR (United Methodisit Committee on Relief) 
         RedBird Mission Inc. 
         Family Promise of Green County

Ongoing collections of items for several missions include:
          Boxtops for Education and Campbells labels for Northcott Neighborhood House
          poptops for Ronald McDonald House
          stamps for United Methodist Women's missions
          personal hygeine items for Rockford Rescue Mission
          Milk Moola points for Noah's Ark Preschool
          food for Green County Food Pantry

Each May and June, the United Methodist Wisconsin Conference chooses a mission to support. Monroe UMC members enthusiastically donate a wide variety of items for this cause every year.   

We strive to do three hands on missions each year.

Our youth have a strong commitment to mission and support three children in Africa and South America through Compassion International. 

Each year during Lent our Sunday School children choose a mission to support and contribute all of their giving to that mission. The children have been very delighted to send chickens and a water buffalo to families through Heifer International.
